Cambridge Early Years is the start of an exciting educational journey that helps learners aged 3 to 6 develop the knowledge, understanding, and skills they need to make the best possible start in life.
- Language & Communication
- Social & Emotional
- Physical
- Cognitive
Cambridge Early Years takes a holistic and balanced approach that focuses on physical, cognitive, language and communication and social and emotional development. The programme also offers engaging classroom activities, and a range of assessment approaches to help each child with their learning progression.
Learning should complement the social and cultural factor (like experiences of home and community) that shape a child’s learning and development.
Children should be actively involved in their own learning through well planned experiences that help them develop competence, agency and emotional attachment and self-worth.
Learning should encourage an appropriate balance of physical, cognitive, language and communication, and social and emotional development.
Learning should be age-appropriate, play-based, and child-centered. It should include both child- and adult-led activities.
